AR Mirror is an augmented reality experience developed by Reality Experience Design. This application uses your device's camera to apply real-time AR effects (Lenses) to your image using Snap's Camera Kit technology.
AR Mirror requires access to your device's camera to provide the augmented reality experience. The camera feed is processed locally in your browser and by Snap's Camera Kit AR engine to render Lenses in real time. We do not record, stream, or store your live camera feed.
When you choose to take a photo using the capture feature, the image is temporarily stored on our servers to allow you to download it to your device via a QR code. Captured photos are stored temporarily and are not linked to any personal identity or account. Photos may be periodically deleted from storage.
AR Mirror does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account credentials. We do not require user registration or login. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
AR Mirror uses Snap's Camera Kit SDK to deliver augmented reality Lenses. When using the application, Snap's Camera Kit may collect anonymized usage and performance metrics as described in Snap's Privacy Policy. With AR Mirror, you can apply fun augmented reality effects on top of your live camera image. Our camera uses technology to locate certain features (like where your eyes and face are) and uses that information to accurately position the AR effects on the image sensed by the camera. Any information that is collected will be deleted as soon as possible and always within no more than three years.
AR Mirror is intended for use by individuals ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
